Field of View Catalyst Fund results
We are pleased to announce the results of the recent Field of View Catalyst Fund call, which attracted a highly competitive pool of applications. This year, we received 23 high-quality applications. Five projects have been selected for funding based on their scientific quality, innovation, and relevance to the aims of Field of View to promote imaging research and collaboration broadly. Each selected project will receive funding to support the implementation of the proposed activities. The funded projects represent a diverse range of approaches and topics, reflecting the strong interest and creativity within the applicant community.
The five projects to receive funding are (in alphabetical order):
Guillaume Jacquemet, ÅAU – ”Microscopy for Everyone: First-Time User Imaging Vouchers to Catalyse New Research and Core Facility Adoption”, 1500EUR
Joanna Okenwa, ÅAU – “The Turku Imaging Visual Atlas”, 1500EUR
Johanna Ivaska, UTU – “Kick-off get-together for the Turku Bioscience Advanced Imaging Center – AIC-Turku”, 1200EUR
Kari Vienola, UTU – “Developing an optical CT scanner using a consumer digital camera”, 1200EUR
Maxwell Miner, UTU (PET centre) – “Holographic printing of 3D and 4D images”, 1500EUR
