Southwest Finland has become an observer member of the Vanguard Initiative, which is a European network aiming at boosting industrial innovations and renewal. To begin with, our region’s interest is centered around synthetic data and artificial intelligence, through a pilot project expected to benefit the widescale health technology expertise in the region. The work is coordinated by the Council of Southwest Finland, and Turku BioImaging is an active participant.
